On January 28, 2026, the SAME Washington DC Post will proudly host the 30th Annual Awards Program at the National Press Club, bringing together military, government, and A/E/C industry professionals to celebrate outstanding contributions to SAME and the broader engineering and national security communities.
The evening will begin with a lively cocktail hour, offering attendees a chance to reconnect in the New Year and build new or reconnect with business and industry networks. Over dinner, we honored the achievements of individuals and sustaining member firms who have made a lasting impact on SAME at both the national and local levels. A highlight of the evening will be the Military Branch Service Awards, where we will recognize uniformed service members from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army / USACE, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy / NAVFAC, the U.S. Public Health Service, and the U.S. Space Force for their dedication and service to our nation.
In addition to the awards presentations, the event will mark the induction of the 2026 SAME DC Post Board of Directors, reaffirming their commitment to advancing industry-government collaboration and the professional development of our members.
