Cincinnati SAME members have a unique opportunity to support local veterans, contribute to the community as a post, and experience a beautiful ceremony!
This free event, hosted by Hospice of Cincinnati and the City of Blue Ash, honors veterans for their service and sacrifice, and gives them the “welcome home” many never received. The ceremony is open to all veterans, with special emphasis placed on those who served in the Vietnam War. After a complimentary lunch, Veterans gather for a Recognition Ceremony, which includes a color guard, live music, and salutations from guest speakers. At the conclusion, Veterans participate in the Parade of Heroes, as community members line the path and thank them as they exit.
