As Maj. Gen. Mike Wehr, P.E., USA (Ret.), SAME Executive Director, shares in his opening message, our success is possible because “Our Strength is Our People: our members, our partners, our stakeholders, and our volunteer leaders throughout the country and around the world.”

You’ll read about Posts and regions setting new benchmarks for industry events, the growing influence of our Leader Development Program, and the expanding impact of STEM outreach and national leadership initiatives, among the many other moments that made 2024 another historic year of accomplishments for our organization.

The SAME 2024 Annual Report is a tribute to the people of SAME—our volunteers, leaders, partners, and professionals who have come together, and through finding, being, and sharing the value, drive the important mission of the Society. As the platform of choice for collaboration between government and industry, our members have formed a vibrant, mission-driven network geared to delivering engineering solutions that have deeply influenced our communities, our national security, and our future for over 100 years.
