Training for the 2025 SAME Career Transition Workshop begins on January 14, with the in-person portion being held February 12-14, 2025, in Linthicum Heights, Md. The CTW is a virtual and in-person workshop designed for transitioning professionals of all levels to make their career change as seamless as possible.

The workshop begins with an extensive virtual program, starting in January. Complete with educational webinars and discussions, the virtual program will set you up for success for your next career move.
In the in-person portion, job seekers will have a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with vetted companies looking to hire skilled employees. If you are looking for a new direction, or simply weighing your options, the Career Transition Workshop is where you’ll find the full experience: from resume and LinkedIn reviews to robust educational sessions and recruiter interviews from a wide variety of companies who will be onsite to answer questions and provide valuable feedback.
The Career Transition Workshop is FREE for SAME members who are transitioning military or currently unemployed. In addition, SAME is currently accepting applications for stipends from current military members to attend the in-person portion of the event. This stipend will cover airfare and hotel for up to ten uniformed professionals to participate for free.
Applicants for the stipend must be current SAME military members (junior officer or enlisted) with plans to transition from the military. Non-members must become SAME members in order to receive the stipend.
E-mail completed applications to registration@same.org by December 31, 2024 to be considered. Members selected for stipends will be notified by the end of January in order to make travel arrangements. Stipend applicants must also participate in the virtual program beginning January 14, 2025.
