Spaces are Limited for the IGE Summit Sessions

This year’s Capital Week, being held Monday, March 25, 2024 – Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Rockville, Md., will host the second SAME Industry-Government Engagement (IGE) Summit. Join this collaborative afternoon with industry leaders, government experts, and thought leaders from across the A/E/C industry to discuss some of the biggest challenges and issues facing our nation’s federal engineering community. Register today to join this highly collaborative, highly sought after event and contribute your insights and expertise to the solutions for tomorrow.
Collaborative Delivery and Federal Projects – The Time is Now!
Participants will learn the benefits and advantages of the Collaborative Delivery Methodology (CDM) and the Construction COI’s partnering goals with government. If you are part of a design build team, a contracting professional, designer or contractor, you will not want to miss this opportunity to learn about the Construction COI’s progress to date and how to engage/participate with the COI to continuously improve collaborative delivery methods across federal government agencies. Hosted by the SAME Construction COI.

Installations of the Future: George Jetson Meets Nuts and Bolts
What happens when fanciful meets the practical when designing future installations? This interactive, collaborative, head-scratcher session will explore what systems, facilities, and processes that are different from today are required to be developed for future installations/federal campuses. Hosted by the SAME Architectural Practice COI.
Joint Engineering Challenges & Solutions
“Challenges and Solutions” in the Joint Engineer Contingency Operations space can be defined by the risk perception and tolerance from any particular stakeholder. This panel will discuss the chain of risks from COCOM through industry and provide recommendations on how to manage each stakeholder’s risk profile to come to a fair and equitable methodology for engaging industry for COCOM requirements. Hosted by the SAME Joint Engineer Contingency Operations COI.
Don’t miss these unique opportunities to hear from professionals, leaders and influencers from across government, industry, and academia to learn about important topics facing the A/E/C community. Participants can earn PDH credits and have a seat at the table as SAME members discuss and develop real-world strategies that may impact our national security. Additional registration is required for the IGE Summit.
