We are delighted that the Society of American Military Engineers Young Professionals has been scheduled to volunteer with Feeding San Diego! Your support brings us closer to ending hunger in San Diego County and enables us to serve over 34 million meals in the community each year. This event will take place Wednesday, November 18th, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. If you plan to volunteer, please sign up by November 4th, 2026.
What to Know Before You Go:
- Closed-toe shoes are required. For your safety, you cannot enter our volunteer center while wearing open-toed shoes. Tennis shoes or running shoes work great!
- Please arrive 5 minutes early; the shift begins promptly.
- Leave valuables in your vehicle.
- No food, drinks, or gum allowed in the warehouse – only closed, bottled water!
For Youth Volunteers:
- All volunteers must be 6 years old to enter the warehouse.
- All volunteers under the age of 16 must have an adult volunteer sign up and provide supervision during the volunteer shift.
- Our required chaperone ratio is 1 adult to every 5 volunteers aged 6 through 13, and 1 adult to every 10 volunteers aged 14 through 16.
