Join the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Great Basin Post for a rare, behind-the-scenes engineering tour of Lagoon Amusement Park. This exclusive opportunity will provide a firsthand look at the engineering, infrastructure, operations, and maintenance systems that keep Lagoon running safely and reliably while delivering unforgettable experiences to millions of guests every year.
Presenter: Dustin Allen, Director of Engineering at Lagoon – he will share insights into the unique challenges and solutions involved in managing a world-class amusement park.
Where: Lagoon Amusement Park, Farmington, UT (meet at the front entrance near the Guest Services Office)
When: Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MST
Lunch: NOT provided, Lagoon dining facilities are expected to be closed. Following the tour, attendees are invited to continue the conversation over lunch at Station Park across the highway from Lagoon.
