The United States Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Providence delivers engineering services across the First Coast Guard District; covering a vast area from Maine to New Jersey. Their responsibilities include supporting 5 Sectors, 2 Bases, 36 Cutters, 30 Small Boat Stations, 1 Air Station, and 6 Aids to Navigation Teams. With a dedicated team of 65 professionals, CEU Providence manages the Shore Maintenance Program, overseeing 5.8 million square feet of facilities valued at over $2.5 billion.
