The Safety Assessment Program (SAP) Training provides architects, engineers, building officials, and inspectors with the skills to evaluate the safety of homes and buildings after disasters. This enables quicker reoccupation for building owners and tenants, allowing communities to return to normal operations sooner.
Students who successfully complete the course receive certification from the California Office of Emergency Services, enabling them to assist in disaster response efforts across the United States in both volunteer and paid roles.
