Join the Resilience Community of Interest (COI) for a webinar on the military response to sea level rise (SLR), in which senior defense officials will share their roles and responsibilities and discuss what each of the services are doing in response to SLR impacts. Attendees will gain an increased understanding of the work the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard is doing to address SLR and resilience concerns while implementing the National Defense Strategy with direction from the National Defense Authorization Act and other policy directives. This webinar builds from earlier SLR and climate change webinars presented primary by the scientific community. Attendees will learn what the Department of Defense is doing to address impacts, threats, and challenges while identifying potential gaps and industry-government engagement opportunities.
