Under partly sunny skies and cool winds on Thursday, April 18, 2024, fifty-five sporting clays enthusiasts descended upon Warrington Sporting Clays. Their mission was to support the Baltimore Post Scholarship fund and enjoy some fun, food, and friendship.
The day started out with participant check-in, breakfast with coffee, and some networking. At about 9:50am a safety briefing was provided by the club’s experienced management and participants headed out to their assigned stands.
Squads of 5 were challenged with 50 targets over 10 stations, with a variety of presentations. During the Mission BBQ lunch feast, top prizes were given for 1st and 2nd Place Teams, plus High Overall Female, Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner. After lunch, trophies, and raffles – the club hosted a Five Stand Challenge Round with $250 given to the Highest Overall Score.
In addition to a great day of fun and friendship, the event raised approx. $7,300 in net profit that will go directly toward the post’s sponsorship fund.
