The Tulsa Post of SAME set out on a field trip to Webbers Falls Powerhouse on September 18, 2025, with about 20 people attending. The caravan arrived at site about 11:45-11:50, then lunches were passed out and Adam Smith and Daniel Morales, USACE Tulsa District, went into the Presentation discussion related to Webbers Falls Powerhouse recent projects and current scour repair work.
A safety brief was performed by JF Brennan Superintendent/Alternate SSHO. The tour didn’t actually make it into the Powerhouse building…it was quite warm outside but it saved us a few mins to better get through the presentation. Afterwards, the tour went to the Draft Tube Platform and everyone got to look over the railing to see the assembled work barge.
