The November-December 2024 issue of TME features articles on designing and constructing facilities for military and federal agencies, such as an aviation logistics facility for the Missouri Army National Guard, modular indoor firing ranges for the Air Force and the Immigration & Customs Enforcement Bureau, and an aquatic training facility for Air Force Special Warfare units. In addition, the issue contains our first “From the Field” article, authored by active-duty servicemembers, following the Army’s 7th Engineer Dive Detachment on a port clearance deployment in the Philippines.
This issue’s Society News looks ahead to 2025, when the 2030 SAME Strategic Plan will go into effect. Read up on how the 2030 Strategic Plan Implementation team is already leaning forward on recommendations to implement this plan across the Society. Also in 2025, the SAME Pacific Regional Summit & IGE Workshop will bring together public and private leaders for engagements on the critical Pacific region. In preparation, the Society is hosting a series of run-up events around the Pacific rim–hear about some of the recent collaboration events in Hawaii in the National IGE Report.
