Women’s History Month

SAME Celebrates Women’s History Month 2023

March is Women’s History Month, and in recognition of the contributions made this month and every month by women in the military and A/E/C industry, SAME will be celebrating the accomplishments and inspirational figures of SAME members starting with our SAME National President Cindy Lincicome, F.SAME!

In each interview, we simply asked “Who influenced you the most in your career?” and “What is your greatest accomplishment so far?”  

We hope their stories will inspire you! In addition, we look forward to seeing your stories online during Women’s History Month. All through March, feel free to share the name of someone who inspires you: your mom, your sister, a colleague, a friend…we want to honor them all.

On March 8, we will also observe International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women.

Make sure to stick with us throughout the month as we feature past engineers and inventors on Women’s International Day (March 8), Rosie the Riveter Day (March 21), and then we’ll throw it back with TME TBT (March 27).
