SAME Foundation to Honor France Hoang, BoodleBox Founder & CEO, with 2027 Soaring Eagle Award

The SAME Foundation will honor France Hoang, Founder and CEO of BoodleBox, with the 2027 Soaring Eagle Award at the Soaring Eagle Award Gala & Dinner on March 17, 2027, during SAME’s Capital Week at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Rockville, Md.

Hoang is the founder and CEO of BoodleBox, a collaborative AI platform designed to advance lifelong learning and workforce readiness. Over the course of his career, Hoang has helped build and scale companies generating more than $600 million in sales across AI, aerospace, defense, and government services. He brings more than 25 years of national security experience with service across multiple branches of the U.S. government, including the White House and a combat deployment as the executive officer of a U.S. Army Special Forces Company in Afghanistan.

The Soaring Eagle Award Gala convenes engineering leaders from across government, industry, and academia to celebrate excellence, strengthen partnerships, and invest in the future of the profession. Proceeds from the event support the SAME Foundation’s mission to foster engineering leadership for the nation through STEM outreach, leadership development, and workforce readiness initiatives. Organizations and individuals are invited to participate as benefactors.  

“SAME’s community is comprised of people who think and feel as I do about service and leadership,” said Hoang. “We are grounded in that same belief: that the best technology doesn’t replace human judgment, it sharpens it. SAME engineers have tackled these types of challenges for over a century, and it’s the challenge worth showing up for today.”
