Post members participated in National Wreaths Across America Day on December 16, 2023. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission is to Remember, Honor and Teach and is carried out through wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 4,000 participating locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.
Our Post sponsored 45 wreaths this year and placed them at two local cemeteries, Garrison Forest Cemetery in Owings Mills and Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery in Crownsville. We placed wreaths on graves in memory of our fallen heroes. Thanks to the Philanthropy Committee for organizing the event, particularly Diedre Crowl, Andy Parker, and Stacy Kahatapitiya.
