SAME Omaha Post Marks E-Week with Exciting Events and Opportunities
Omaha, NE – The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Omaha Post is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming Engineers Week (E-Week), a nationwide celebration dedicated to spotlighting the incredible contributions engineers make to our society and inspiring the next generation of engineering talent. This year’s E-Week, running from February 18–24, 2024, promises a lineup of engaging activities, workshops, and networking events designed to unite our engineering community and foster professional growth.

Westbrook Music Hall Construction Tour: As part of the E-Week celebration, our UNL Student Chapter along with Hausmann Construction will hosting a job site tour of the Westbrook Music Hall that is currently under construction. All students are welcome to participate at no cost. Site Visit will be held February 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm followed by a networking event. E- Week Banquet: The E-Week Banquet is a signature event celebrating the achievements and advancements in the engineering community. Set in the scenic Oak Hills Golf Course in Omaha, the evening is dedicated to networking, a gourmet dinner, and an insightful presentation on the new Airport Terminal upgrades.
