SAME Kicks Off Engineers Week February 16- 21.

Engineers Week (E-Week) is an exciting, energizing, and uplifting celebration of the incredible contributions engineers make to our world. Held annually every February, the week-long event brings together professionals, students, educators, and the public to highlight engineering’s impact on solving global challenges.
From innovation to education to national defense, SAME joins this national initiative in recognition of engineers, and serves to showcase how our own members across the federal A/E/C community drive impact and progress through engineering projects, technology, and creativity. This year, at the national level, we will celebrate E-Week with social media posts, articles, and interviews designed to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers. Even more, throughout the country so many SAME Posts will participate in E-Week activities in their local communities, as will many of our Strategic Partners who also are committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers for America.
E-Week serves as a powerful reminder of how critical engineering is to our future. Through outreach and enrichment, the program is designed to spark interest in STEM fields, especially among students, while encouraging collaboration within the industry. Whether tackling environmental issues or advancing technology in pursuit of national security, E-Week underscores the transformative role engineers play in shaping a better world.
