This carefully chosen group of industry professionals provides detailed oversight and thoughtful stewardship of the Foundation’s resources. The Board of Directors also play a critical role in raising funds that will underwrite important programs like the Leader Development Programs, Construction and Engineering Camps, Camp Alumni Scholarships, Camps Mentoring Program, and the We Must Go To Them STEM Program.
The SAME Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that began in 2016 to serve as the philanthropic arm of the Society. The Foundation relies on a dedicated and committed group of volunteer board members to carry out its mission of fostering engineering leadership and education for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
If you know a fellow SAME Member with unquestioned ethics, loyalty, and integrity; strong communication skills; and high level leadership positions with the military, government, and/or industry, complete this National Foundation Board Nomination form, or have your nominee complete it, listing you as the nominator.
Specifically, the SAME Foundation is actively recruiting candidates with the experience in Finance and Budget, Fundraising, Marketing and Stewardship.
